1. General contact and user information
We collect User email addresses, contact information, and as to Pharmacist Provider users, representations of professional qualifications, to authenticate Users and to send notifications to Users relating to PillBoxTalk’s services, including to send updates, newsletters, or news or information regarding the Website.
We also log IP addresses and aggregate non-personally identifiable user data and browser type from users and visitors to the Website. This data is used to manage the website, track usage, and improve the website services. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes. This data is gathered using cookies and other similar technologies to customize the user’s experience and also provide us with information about how visitors use the Website. If you prefer not to enable cookies, you may change your browser settings to disable cookies; however, please note that rejecting cookies while visiting the Website may result in certain parts of the Website not operating correctly or as efficiently as if cookies were allowed.
2. Pharmacist Provider Information
Pharmacist Providers must provide at least the following information in order to use the Website – (1) name; (2) business name; (3) physical location; (4) mailing address (if different); (5) phone number(s); (6) email address; (7) website; (8) listing of professional services provided; (9) Pharmacist License Number / State; and (10) payment methods accepted. All of this information will be collected, displayed, and be searchable by registered users on the Website.
We may reproduce and distribute, with attribution to the Pharmacist Provider, any portion or summary of any content prepared by us for purposes of promoting the Website, including in search engine results or other media, as authorized by the “fair use” doctrine of U.S. copyright laws.
We may also reproduce this information to the extent necessary for backup and archival purposes and to facilitate the exercise of the display rights described herein. Display of profiles can be terminated upon request of the Pharmacist Provider User upon the terms set forth in the User Agreement.
3. Information Collected from Users Automatically
We and our third party service providers, including analytics and third party content providers, may automatically collect certain information from you whenever you access or interact with the Service. This information may include, among other information, the browser and operating system you are using, the URL or advertisement that referred you to the Service, the search terms you entered into a search engine that led you to the Service, areas within the Service that you visited, and other information commonly shared when browsers communicate with websites. We may combine this automatically collected log information with other information we collect about you. We do this to improve services we offer you, to improve marketing, analytics, and site functionality.
The information we collect also includes the Internet Protocol (“IP”) address or other unique device identifier (“Device Identifier”) for any device (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) used to access the Service. A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned or connected to the device you use to access the Service, and our servers identify your device by its Device Identifier. Website is hosted on a third party platform that has implemented security measures designed to protect the Personal Information you share with us, including physical, electronic and procedural measures. This platform regularly monitor their systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. Regardless of the measures and efforts taken by PillBoxTalk, we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute protection and security of your Personal Information. We encourage you to use strong passwords for your User Account and avoid providing us with any sensitive information which you believe its disclosure could cause you substantial or irreparable harm.
Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, PillBoxTalk will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary to: (1) comply with applicable laws; (2) respond to governmental inquiries or requests; (3) comply with valid legal process; (4) protect the rights, privacy, safety or property of PillBoxTalk, Website users, or the public; (5) permit us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain; and (6) enforce our User Agreement.
Choices & Obligations
If you are a public user of the Website, you can change your profile information at any time by editing your profile, deleting information, or closing your account.
If you are a Pharmacist Provider, you can only request changes to profile information by contacting us at the contact information listed below.
If you have any questions about how to remove or modify information, please contact us.
We will retain your information for as long as your user account is active or as needed, for example, if needed to comply with any legal obligations or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce the User Agreement.
Links and Connections With Other Websites
PillBoxTalk, Inc.’s Website may be built on a third party platform (such as Wix, WordPress, or similar applications) and thus does not have complete control over any collection of information that may be done by that third party application. Please see the Privacy Policies of those platforms for any additional collection, use, or retention of data information and any additional security measures in place.
Our Website may contains links to other websites. If you choose to click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s website. The fact that we link to a website is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation with that third party, nor is it an endorsement of their privacy or information security policies or practices. California Residents - Your Privacy Rights
We don’t share any of your personal information with third parties for direct marketing. California Civil Code § 1798.83, known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our customers who are California residents to request and obtain from us a list of what personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year and the names and addresses of those third parties. Requests may be made only once a year and are free of charge. Under Section 1798.83, we currently do not share any personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
