COVID19: Medication Delivery Options

According to an analysis released Wednesday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) 80% of deaths associated with the coronavirus in the United States thus far have been in adults aged 65 and older. This correlates with early data from China suggesting that a majority of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) deaths have occurred among adults aged ≥60 years and among persons with serious underlying health conditions. Currently in the state of California Governor Newsom asked those over the age of 65 to minimize leaving their homes to help avoid coming into contact with those unknowingly infected with COVID19.

Many of us in the HealthCare Industry want to be able to do more for our Senior population living at home. With the facts we have today, here at PillBoxTalk we have created a list of local Pharmacies in San Diego County that are able to provide delivery services of medications to those staying in place at home. This is a preliminary list and we will add/edit as the days and weeks progress.
